Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Bizmoon is an AI-powered platform that provides regulatory monitoring and analysis, grant and funding opportunity matching, AI-assisted grant application drafting (including NOFO analysis, interview-based content generation, SF-424 form data, and exportable documents), an AI assistant for conversations, compliance deadline and action item tracking, watchlist keyword monitoring, report generation and PDF export, website enrichment, and federal contract data integration via USASpending.gov.

All analyses are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for informational purposes only — they do not constitute legal, financial, or compliance advice.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@bizmoon.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

The platform supports multi-user organizations with roles including owner, admin, and member. Organization owners and admins are responsible for managing team access and permissions. Each member is responsible for their own credentials and account security.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

Plans

• Starter (Free): Unlimited regulatory insights, dashboard access, weekly funding alerts, and weekly digest emails.
• Professional ($7.99/month or $79/year): Everything in Starter plus AI assistant, full analytics, real-time email alerts, PDF reports, custom watchlists, grant application drafting, file uploads, and priority support.
• Enterprise ($299/month): Everything in Professional plus custom regulatory coverage, full API access, SSO and team management, and a dedicated account manager.

Free Trials

The Professional plan includes a 14-day free trial. If no payment method is added by the end of the trial period, your account automatically downgrades to the Starter plan. You may cancel at any time during the trial without charge.

Billing

Paid plans are billed via Stripe. Monthly plans are billed on a recurring monthly cycle, and annual plans are billed once per year. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. You may cancel at any time and retain access through the end of your current billing period.

4. API Access

• API access is available on the Enterprise plan or as otherwise enabled for your account.
• API keys are generated through platform settings with configurable scopes and optional expiration dates.
• Rate limits apply: 60 requests per minute per key and 1,000 requests per day per organization.
• Usage is metered. Each plan includes a set number of API credits; overage charges may apply.
• You are responsible for securing your API keys. Compromised keys should be revoked immediately through your settings.
• We reserve the right to suspend API access for abuse or excessive usage that impacts platform stability.
• API documentation is available within the platform.

5. Grant Application Drafting

• The platform uses AI to analyze grant announcements (NOFOs) and generate draft application sections based on your interview answers, organization profile, and application profile data.
• All generated content constitutes AI-generated drafts only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all content before submission to any granting agency.
• Bizmoon does not submit applications on your behalf.
• We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or success of generated application materials.
• Application sections can be exported as DOCX documents for further editing.
• Application data is stored per-organization and retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. File Uploads

• Accepted file types include PNG, JPEG, GIF, and WebP images; PDF documents; and plain text and CSV files.
• Maximum file size is 10 MB per file, with a maximum of 5 files per upload.
• Uploaded files are stored with cloud infrastructure providers, scoped to your organization.
• You retain ownership of all files you upload.
• You represent that you have the right to upload all files and that they do not contain illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
• We reserve the right to remove files that violate these Terms.
• Files uploaded to AI conversations may be sent to our third-party AI providers for analysis.

7. AI Assistant & Conversations

• The AI-powered chat assistant is available on Professional and Enterprise plans.
• Conversations are stored with full history so the assistant can maintain continuity across sessions.
• The assistant may access your analyses, deadlines, reports, watchlist data, and funding opportunities to provide relevant responses.
• The assistant may fetch external web pages when you request it or when pages are referenced in your data.
• All responses are AI-generated and subject to the same disclaimers as all AI content (see Section 11).
• You may delete your conversation history at any time.

8. Website Enrichment

When you provide a website URL, we may automatically crawl that site to extract business information. By providing a URL, you represent that you have the authority to authorize crawling of that website. Extracted data is used solely to enrich your organization profile within the platform. You can trigger enrichment from your organization settings.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any applicable law
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its underlying infrastructure
• Share account credentials with unauthorized parties
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the service without written consent
• Upload malicious files, malware, or content designed to exploit the system
• Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or replicate AI model behavior at scale
• Use the grant application feature to generate fraudulent or misleading applications
• Abuse the API by exceeding rate limits or circumventing usage tracking
• Use the AI assistant to access restricted, illegal, or unauthorized content
• Misrepresent AI-generated content as human-authored in contexts where disclosure is required

10. Intellectual Property

All content, software, and branding on Bizmoon are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of the business data you provide. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to deliver the service.

• We make no ownership claim over AI-generated content produced specifically for your use, including analyses, grant drafts, and reports.
• You are granted a non-exclusive license to use AI-generated outputs for your business purposes.
• The underlying technology, algorithms, and platform remain our property or that of our licensors.
• Feedback you provide about the service may be used to improve the platform without obligation to you.

11. AI-Generated Content

The following are all generated by artificial intelligence: policy analyses, relevance scores, impact assessments, grant application drafts, NOFO analyses, compliance deadline extractions, action item recommendations, funding opportunity matches, AI assistant chat responses, and generated reports.

• AI outputs may contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or outdated information.
• You must independently verify all information before making business, legal, financial, or compliance decisions.
• Grant application drafts must be reviewed by qualified personnel before submission to any granting agency.
• We are not responsible for grant application rejections, missed deadlines, regulatory penalties, or any adverse outcomes resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of regulatory data, funding opportunities, or contract information sourced from government databases.

12. Reports & Exports

• Compliance reports are generated based on your organization data and AI analysis and are available for download as PDF files.
• Grant applications can be exported as DOCX documents for further editing.
• We do not guarantee that reports are comprehensive or error-free.
• Report availability depends on your subscription tier.

13. Data Portability

• You may export grant application data as DOCX documents and download generated reports as PDF files.
• To request a complete data export, contact us at hello@bizmoon.ai.
• Upon account deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Service Level & Availability

• The service is provided on a commercially reasonable basis. We do not guarantee a specific uptime percentage.
• Scheduled maintenance may temporarily disrupt the service. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.
• Background processing (analysis, report generation, application drafting) is asynchronous and may experience delays.
• We reserve the right to implement usage limits to ensure platform stability.

15. Beta & Experimental Features

• Certain features may be designated as beta or experimental.
• Beta features are provided "as is" with no warranty of any kind.
• Beta features may be modified or discontinued without notice.
• Feedback on beta features may be used to improve the service.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bizmoon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Without limiting the foregoing, Bizmoon shall not be liable for any damages arising from: (a) reliance on AI-generated content, analyses, or grant application materials; (b) the outcome of any grant application prepared using the Service; (c) errors in regulatory data or funding opportunity information; or (d) actions taken or not taken based on compliance deadlines or action items presented by the Service.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Bizmoon harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

19. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

• Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
• We recommend exporting your data before account deletion using the available export features.
• We may suspend accounts that are past due on payment.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
